An early investment opportunity in Guardian Technologies an Island healthtech company
The directors of Guardian Technologies Group Ltd are offering IW investors the opportunity to buy shares in the company at a discount, ahead of a funding round in which we plan to raise a further £500,000.
As an investor in Guardian you would be in good company; existing investors include Startup Health – the leading US investor in early-stage healthtech companies, British Business Bank – UK government owned bank for tech startups, the IOW Lottery fund, and several private IW investors.
The company is eligible to participate in the Government’s SEIS tax Scheme. Under this scheme, as a higher rate taxpayer, 50% of your investment can be set against tax, so on an investment of £10,000 your actual net investment is only £5,000. Based upon our internal projections and comparable industry metrics, your initial investment could be worth 10X+ in 5-7 years, with no capital gains payable on the sale of your shares.
We will reward early-stage investors with a 10% discount on their shares. Shares will be offered at a lower valuation than those offered to investors in the next funding round, providing an immediate gain in the value of the shares. Furthermore, we will offer each investor a free lifetime subscription to our Guardian mobile phone service.
